Seaweed Stories

A new collection of mixed media works celebrating my fascination with seaweed! 

Tiny sprigs or great swathes of seaweed always catch my eye when I am walking on the beach...my phone is choc full of photos of seaweed!

There's something rather lovely about the shapes they make silhouetted against sand or rocks. And I love how tiny sprigs break off and float on the surface of rockpools or catch in the tide and drift along the water's edge.

I have made prints of my favourite photos to collage into these paintings.
