Seaweed Stories

Tiny sprigs or great swathes of seaweed always catch my eye when I am walking on the beach or by the estuary at low tide...my phone is choc full of photos of seaweed!

There's something rather lovely about the shapes they make silhouetted against sand or rocks. And I love how tiny sprigs break off and float on the surface of rockpools or catch in the tide and drift along the water's edge.

I have made prints of my favourite photos to collage into these paintings.
