About me

My work is inspired by walking local beaches and coastal paths. Everything comes from my deep connection with the places I love, the things seen and felt as I explore my surroundings.

As an inter-disciplinary artist, I work with different media and creative practices. Following what interests me, I take an exploratory and developmental approach to making art. I also actively seek out creative collaboration with other artists as a mechanism for extending my practice.

Over a number of years, I curated my art education from a variety of sources, and self-directed practice, studying with contemporary artists whose work I enjoyed, including taking a number of courses at Newlyn School of Art, notably completing two full years of intensive professional practice development at the school in June 2023.

I remain committed to continuous practice development. Learning never ends. Curiosity is everything.
