Many of my paintings have haiku as titles. I write haiku as a way of capturing my observations and experiences. These poems in turn help inspire the paintings and become their titles.
This is a softly textured painting incorporating marble dust in acrylic paint and having a silken wax finish. It is a delight to touch!
The painting is made on board and unframed although ready to hang. The painting is mounted on a deep MDF board fixed with d-rings and cord so it sits beautifully away from the wall, casting soft shadows. These fixings can easily be removed if you wish to have the painting float framed.
